Choosing an Intimate Relationship I just finished reviewing a womenÃ¢ÂÂs study program by NavPress Publishing as part of their blogger review program. This book was provided to me free and I was under no obligation to provide a positive review. The opinions contained herein are strictly my own. This book Ã¢ÂÂ Bridges on the Journey: Choosing an Intimate Relationship with Jesus is actually the first in a three part series. It can be used as a Bible study, but is best used as a small group study and discussion. The book is designed to be used in six session and it contains a leaders guide in the appendix to be used with the book. Each session is written to be completed on a weekly meeting basis and contains scripture pertaining to the topic of the session with questions to follow. One unique feature of this book is that it contains stories from ordinary women about their experiences along their journey to become closer to God. The sessions also include what they call My Daily Journey. This is a technique of daily scripture reading and spending time with God and recording your thoughts and progress on the journey. The book includes scripture cards pertaining to each session that can be removed from the book to be used for scripture memory and be carried with you throughout the week for practice in learning the scripture. I read through this entire study and I am looking forward to starting my own small group in the spring and using this book as our guide. It can be helpful for new Christians as well as those wanting to explore a deeper relationship with the Lord. This comes with high recommendations in my opinion. This book is not yet available.
