Series: Brides of Bonneterre
Follow the lives and loves of a Southern wedding planner and some of her fun-loving—but meddlesome—cousins in this contemporary romance series. Set in the fictional, quintessential southern city of Bonneterre, Louisiana, the Brides of Bonneterre series is filled with fun, food, family—and lots of romance! Although each of the three volumes deals with serious themes such as forgiveness and fear, the tone is lighthearted and humorous, with plenty of southern charm, wit, and wisdom mixed in.
Janet Shaffer5 Stars Out Of 5Glad I bought this bookSeptember 19, 2013Janet ShafferQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I enjoy trilogies that involve the same family and characters. This was good and held my attention, even though one knows what the outcome will be, as is usually true in most romance novels. It had enough depth without getting so involved that I could not remember which character was being referred to. This gave me several evenings of reading enjoyment. The price was excellent.
Doris Bookman3 Stars Out Of 5April 12, 2013Doris BookmanQuality: 3Value: 4Meets Expectations: 3This book was a bit "wordie". I had a hard time sticking with it after the second installment. It seemed to get a bit redundant. Good stories. Just wish it were a little less repeatative.
