I like what the songs teach, and I like how the songs are performed/arranged/composed. It strengthens my relationship with God.

Grass Roots Feel To It!
This is a wonderful album! I'm sort of new to Brandon Heath, so this is my first CD of his that I personally own.
This album has a Country flare to it - but with a biblical base to it. :) It's how I would imagine John Denver would have been like had he been in the Christian Music Genre.
I am SO glad I bought this CD! I LOVE IT.

Impressive!
I was introduced to Brandon's music when he came out with his previous album, Leaving Eden. Since then, I've gone ahead and bought all his albums. And when he posted on his Facebook page and YouTube channel that he had an October release for his latest album, I was excited!
Oh boy! I wasn't disappointed. Not even a bit.
One thing I have noticed about Brandon's music is that he experiments with styles, genres and sounds. This time he explores his Nashville roots using country folk and comes up with an amazing line up of songs. They are soul-stirring and an absolute delight to the ears.
My personal favorites include Dyin' Day, Love Does, He Paid it all, Hands of the Healer, The Harvester and of course, Jesus in Disguise. One of the stand out songs I just needed to make special mention about is the song, Paul Brown Petty, where he adds an endearingly personal touch writing about his granddad and impact he had on Brandon's life and his spiritual walk with the Lord.
Blue Mountain is, perhaps, his best release so far. Way to go, Brandon! Keep it coming :)
