science and personal well-blended
The information was very helpful to me as a newly engaged woman. The science is undeniably clear about our differences, male and female. I really especially enjoyed the creative way the book was written and organized. The authors successfully and entertainingly interwove personal experience with the facts.

Aside from the Bible, this is the best book I've ever invested in. I would recommend this to anyone who is in a relationship, thinking about marriage and even if you've been married for years.

Walt & Barb Larimore have done couples and those who counsel them an invaluable tool that is without precedent. Rarely is any new book profound in its scope and impact. This one more than qualifies. Beginning from the physiology of both the male and female brain, they compare and contrast both and move to everyday examples of how this affects differences in mood, communication, information processing, conflict approach and resolution and emotional expression. Abundantly researched and saturated with down-to-earth illustrations, this is a fresh, new, rock-solid resource. This is a publication that is in the rarefied air of 6 star category. The more personalized examples of such differences between the authors themselves is worth the price of the book. God, indeed, "made them male and female." Did He ever!
