If you love creating in the kitchen, the Bountiful BlessingsCookbook is for you! Featuring hundreds of recipes—for main dishes, sides, desserts, and everything in between—that will surprise and delight for all seasons, this collection includes just the inspiration you need to create one simple dish or even a complete family feast!
This cookbook is reminiscent of Sunday dinners shared with family. The recipes pair nicely with each other, providing a full menu (with extra dessert-yeah!). Though not overly fancy, the “feel-good” recipes will be perfect for fall days, busy activity-filled days, and unified family meals.
The book is laid out nicely, and has excellent recipes, many of them easy. These are the recipes that I will always remember from church picnics. I appreciated that there were recipes that could be used with canning. The variety of appetizers, breads, salads, soups, casseroles, desserts, cookies, pies, cakes, candies, etc., were VERY impressive. I also liked that many of the recipes were easy, and included items that most households would have on hand anyway.
The recipe pages themselves are quite nice. The directions are all clear and concise making the steps easy to follow when trying out a new recipe.
WONDERFUL! A++ work!! Can't wait to tell all my friends about this!!
The recipes were relatively simple and no-fail. They didn't contain fancy ingredients and had no qualms about including copious amounts of Crisco and butter. I especially loved that they were titled with the name of submitter (Betty Jean's Jell-O Fluff, Sheila Jone's Easter Casserole, Sally Pruitt's Christmas Ribbon Candy.). The recipes are straight-forward and no fuss.
Considering the sheer number of recipes, there should definitely be something for everyone. Will be adding this to my collection.
