It is giving my husband and I the tools needed to raise 3 boys. I cannot say enough good things about it. We are so blessed to have such good, bible based instruction at our figertips. Thank you Dr. Townsend. Reviewed by Mary (Lancaster, OH), November 27, 2009This is a great tool to refer to as needed. I first borrowed it from the library, then decided I needed a copy for myself. It offers suggestions that you may not think of when you are in the middle of a situation with your child. Reviewed by Trina Mccallin (Bel Air, MD), August 26, 2009This book has been very helpful in helping me deal with the issues that I have been having with me teenage son. One of the most helpful aspects is that of dealing with him in love instead of frustration which can be very difficult when you are getting disobeyed and disrespected. But when I put this into action I immediately saw a difference in our interactions. Also, helping my son gain a vision of his "good" future has been very beneficial for my son. This vision I know is going to help my son in choosing things that are more future related than now related. I would definitely recommend this book to any teenage parent. Reviewed by Suzan Schlipp (Hanover Park, IL), March 27, 2009I wish i had read this when my daughter was 12 or 13 as she is now 15.I would highly recommend this book to every parent.Excellent Book....Thank you.
