FaithWyoming, MNAge: 45-54Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Loved it!January 3, 2013FaithWyoming, MNAge: 45-54Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I just finished this book last night and I thoroughly loved it! It is a beautifully written book written in "fiction" format depicting the truths of the Truefaced and The Cure principles. It was great to see how the principles are lived out in a "real" situation, such as Steven's. I could relate to ALL of it! And to every character in the book. So convicting and yet so hopeful. I got so much more out of it by reading The Cure first, but you wouldn't have to. I love the concepts so much that I'm starting my own Community of Grace with other women who need these principles desperately! We will be going thru The Cure with the workbook, but I'm sure Bo's Cafe will be required reading:) If you are into understanding what makes you and other's "tick", this will be a great read for you! And it may just save some marriages too!

When weaknesses come to the light in an environment of grace, then healing comes too! I now pray to experience this personally. BOOK RECOMMENDED!
petecw984 Stars Out Of 5May 12, 2010petecw98Good book. I don't usually spend time reading fiction, but this one caught my eye. I've enjoyed it. It's really about God's grace and tranformative love for us.
Mike Tesdahl5 Stars Out Of 5November 17, 2009Mike TesdahlI devoured this book! It should be required reading for all leaders, all mentors, and the spouses who love them.
Shirley Rempel5 Stars Out Of 5November 4, 2009Shirley RempelWhen I first read what Bo's Cafe is about, immediately I thought, oh is this book going to be "The Shack" part 2? But as I began to read, I realized that no, this book is not! Bo's Cafe takes on the subject of grace in a fresh, new way! This book, though fiction, showed the realness of people. We can't move forward until we let go of the past. We have to let go of our control (or in the case of the characters in Bo's Cafe, what we think we can control), our anger and our bitterness. Only than can we move forward.Although an easy to read, well-written book, it is deep and I am still processing through what I have read in Bo's Cafe. There are not many books that impact me like this.Bo's Cafe is a great way to introduce the concept of acceptance, grace and forgiveness in a non-threatening way. I would definitely recommend it to non-Christians, new Christians and searching Christians.
