The Book of Leviticus: New International Commentary on the Old Testament [NICOT]
Very deep by analyzing the text, structure and context. But very practical, in the end of each chapter there is a "connection" between the chapter and its subject with the New Testament and it makes the commentary extremely important to understand how the Old Testament can be relevant.
I definitely recommend it!

One of the best.
Wenham is a respected Evangelical Old Testament scholar. The NICOT commentary on Leviticus may be his best work to date. It is enlightening, informative, and accessible. It rests on solid scholarship and includes enough detail for all but the most serious specialist. There are now a number of quality commentaries on Leviticus with various strengths and limitations (e.g. Bellinger, Harrison, Hartley, Kaiser, Milgrom, & Rooker). WenhamâÂÂs volume deserves a place among the best of that list.

this commentary delivers, he takes what has been written before, and adds serious contributions. i especially like that his scholarship transverses both testaments, which allow him reflective insight in ways that Jesus relates to all aspects of the word of God, which his life illumines...Wenham is a serious scholar and an excellent communicator of ideas. Bringing O.T. ritual into Christological relief is easy when it is obvious, this guy however digs deep, a fine addition to my working library. jbm

Keith Mathison of Ligonier Ministries gives high praise to this commentary, 'This commentary is not only the best commentary on the book of Leviticus, it is one of the best commentaries on any book of the Bible that I have read.'
