Agree not biblical
January 11, 2013
it is true that this book does not follow God's plan for a family. However, it is the only boy body book that there is. Why is that? I found a pletera of body books for my daughers and this is the only one for a boy. The book does offer actual relative advice for their body. I just ripped the pages out that I didn't like. And he knows God's truth.
I am returning. Because page 76 is titled, "All Sorts of Families," and states, "Some boys are raised by a single parent, grandparents, two moms, two dads, ..." Different families are fine but not 2 moms and 2 dads ~ This isn't biblical and shouldn't even be on a Christian website. God made a woman and a man!!!!
returning. Page 76 is titled, "All Sorts of Families," and states, "Some boys are raised by a single parent, grandparents, two moms, two dads, ..." A book that normalizes that shouldn't be provided here.
This is a good book to explain body changes to boys. I am reading it to my 8 1/2 year old son. Some parts aren't relevant to him right now, but they will be soon enough. I just skip over them right now if I think they are giving too much info or things that he just doesn't need to know about right now.
