Product Description

COMPASSION is often viewed as a secondarymovement in the Christian life.

Challenging that standpoint, Bleed Out isabout hearing the compassionate voice of Godin our lives, understanding that voice, and respondingto it through our own Christlikecompassion towards others. Bleed Out highlightssome of the heroes often overlooked inthe market-driven, socio-religious economy ofwestern Christianity.

Beginning with a foundation of understandingwhere compassion comes from, Bleed Outleads into a series of stories that show the compassionof Jesus in the New Testament. Theseare followed by parallel stories of Christ-likecompassion that are happening today all overthe world, ranging from students like you tothe marginalized and others who may be nothinglike you. Each section ends with an opportunityfor interactive reflection and a personalcontinuation of the themes addressed in thatsection.
