This newest addition to the Bower's Files does not disappoint. I found the storytelling captivating and the character development compelling. Agent Bowers not only investigates crimes using environmental criminology, but he also is raising his teenage daughter Tessa. One of my favorite parts of this novel was the focus on Tessa, as she navigated deep ethical questions. Brew yourself a cup of good coffee (or tea, if you prefer), and get ready for twists and turns. This exciting thriller is another 5 star read from Steven James!
this is an excellent series. all the books in the series have been hard to put down. every free moment I pick up the book to read. I just wish the author would have used more reference to Jesus and Christian living.I hope he writes more books as good as this series
I completely enjoyed the first three novels in James's series, and was eagerly anticipating the fourth. However, when the novel dipped into the dark side of human relationships with the protrayal of the sadisticrelationship between the criminals and their crime and their sexual relationship, I felt that this wasn't a novel that should be considered by or read by a person with a Christian mind set. I was very disappointed as the other 3 in the series were so well written.
