I recommend this book for women who find themselves facing mid-life. I often wondered why I feel they way I do. I think we have to mature alittle before we find our way home to God. He knows the right time to hlep us recover from past wounds and and handle difficulties in life. If you find yourself entering midlife have have questions about yourself and your relationships, please get this book. It has helped me so much. I'm looking forward to new books by Jan. I feel that I'm starting to answers to things I've often wondered about myself. Glad to a Big Girl.

This is a book that every woman should read, especially Christian women. Every woman should definitely read it before marriage so they don't whine the first 5 years like I did. It really helped me to pray more and think before I speak.

I really enjoyed this book. Jan accurately dipicted what I had been going through and all of the lessons God has been trying to teach me through the past years of crisis in my life. I used this book this year to give a workshop at our women's retreat. The issues of growing up are universal. I also recommend this book to men, because everyone needs to make a healthy assessment of our behavior.
