Author Bio

CATHERINE WALKER (B.A., Wheaton College; M.A., Columbia Bible College; M.R.E. and D.R.E., Southern Baptist Theological Seminary) previously served as an instructor at the Indonesian Baptist Theological Seminary in Semarang for 26 years. Upon retirement she served as special assistant for intercessory prayer at Foreign Mission Board headquarters. She is author of Bible Workbook Volumes I and II and six theological textbooks in the Indonesian language. She also co-authored Disciples and Prayer Life. Catherine now resides in Richmond, Virginia.

This is 1 of a 2 Vol. Set. I've found these books to be incredible for goal-oriented study of the Bible. It gives you a planner for every day of the week. The best part is all the pages in the workbooks are perforated for tearing out so you can make copies and share w/family and friends. Can even make a game out of it, timing yourself/others on doing a sheet of questions. The best part is ALL the answers are in the Bible, and each question usually gives you an idea as of where to find the answers. I've been studying the Bible for many years. This is the first time I've found a workbook that can be used w/any Christian Religion. Its teaches just whats IN the Bible, no other additional teachings/practices. I recommend it to anyone who wants a fun, challenging way of reading the Bible from beginning to end. It even has Maps included, asking you to trace, for ex. Abrahams or the Israelites journey.....Gives you direct commands to LEARN or MEMORIZE a specific thing.Just as if you were taking a class. Actually the book(s) were written for weekly ADULT BIBLE CLASSES. Yes very happy with the both of them. Thanks Again...... February 1, 2009
