We use the coloring book in our learning center. The first graders color the pictures and read the stories. We are assembling a storybook for the book learning center.
The stories are accurate and are written at a level that young children can read and understand.

Great book. I teach 1st and 2nd graders at church and I use the coloring pages at the beginning of class to keep them busy while everyone is arriving. I have Bible Story Coloring Pages II also and I can always find a picture to coordinate with the lesson for the day.

Excellent! A wonderful way for children to make their own Bible! When they finish coloring the last page, bind the pages and the child has a Bible Story Book to keep and read! It makes a great way for children to keep a "journal" of their early walk with Christ.

This book has pictures for many Bible stories that aren't found in other coloring books. The right to reproduce makes this book very useful when teaching Sunday school.

This is a great resource. My only complaint is that I did not read anywhere that the images in this book are also in "My Bible Coloring Bible" -- which is $7.00 cheaper. The main difference between the two is that "Bible Story Coloring Pages" has a summary of the Bible story on the back of each page. The cheaper volume is only coloring pages.

I've had this book for several years and used it in a variety of ways for lessons for the kids at church. I love that it is reproducible. I currently duplex the pages as they are in the book with the coloring page on front and story on back. I hold up the picture for the children while I read the back to them and then I give them each a copy as well as pages from some reproducible bible puzzle books that relate to the same bible story or lesson and put them on clipboards for the children to work on. The younger children take them to work on during "big church" (this gives them something fun to do and keeps them focused quiet) and/or take them home so Mom and Dad can reread the story with them during the week. (I try whenever possible to relate the lesson to the "adult" sermon topic that the pastor is giving that week.) I provide the children with a folder they can keep them in. I also have recently started making up a fill in the blank question sheet based on the story and if the children get all or most of the answers filled in correctly they can pick a prize out of a goodie bag after church.
