Having so many "useless" commentaries in my library, it is a joy to have The Wiersbe set as most commentaries are meant for seminaries. Warren Wiersbe speaks in simple language and has a unique gift in all of the books he has written in that they are both easy to read but profound. I admire author's approach of simplicity making it easily readable by average man on the street and message of bible to all men but it also provides depth and insight and relevance towards Christian life. Excellent Work.

The books are a gift, and he has not received them yet as his birthday is not till the 9th. I am sure he will love them, as he buys the individual commentary books by Warren Wiersby, thought it would be nice to have the whole set. Thank you so much

What an excellent commentary. I have always loved Wiersbe's Be series and when I saw that these were available on CB.com, I had to get them. For one, the price was out of this world, and two, they had them here in less then a week. After unpacking them, I went through each volume and was impressed with the quality as well as the wealth of information. I am doing a study on the life of Paul and doing his letters in chronological order. Yep, I used notes from this commentary the very next time I taught. These will be used often.

Excellent! This has quickly become one of my favorite expositional commentaries. Written in a style that makes for not only interesting reading but provides indepth analysis of Scripture. I have used this set extensively in sermon and lesson preparation. The historical insights and sound scholarship is worth multitudes more than the cost! This is one work that no serious Bible student should be without. Buy a set and be blessed, give a set be a blessing!!
