The Bible Explorer Series: Search for Noah's Ark--DVD
Interesting and educational and done in color.
This beautiful film answered many questions, even though the ark was not definitivly proven to be found. The fact that the wood from the ark is petrified by now explains why even if found we may never be certain, which is alright with me. Thanks to the brave men who's devotion made this film so wonderful.

I would tell others to purchase this DVD only because there is currently no other DVD on the topic here at ChristianBook. But I will say this...Noah's Ark has very likely been found in the remote mountains of Iran, an area known as Persia prior to the 20th Century, in the Original Mountains of Ararat (As recorded in Genesis chapters 6-9). The Ark found earlier in Turkey turned out to be a hoax and was quickly discredited. The opposite is true of the large barge type ship and remains found at over 13,000 feet in the mountains of remote northern Iran. Five separate and independent American laboratories have verified the evidence to be from a large ancient ship embedded with sea-life as well as the remnants of numerous animals from different parts of the world. HOWEVER, very little of what I've stated above is explained in this DVD. I learned of this information from an earlier "Prophecy In the News" interview with Arch Bonnema. And while Arch didn't or couldn't say for sure what they found was Noah's Ark he was a good witness, he wasn't wishy-washy as were the majority of the men in this DVD; their testimony was weak for the preponderance of the evidence left behind. Too much time was spent on the past false-finds in Turkey while other evidence was either omitted or glossed over. Once again another archaeological discovery has shown the Bible to be accurate.Hopefully this DVD on Noah's Ark will be reworked since this is an important find which could win many souls to Christ if presented more strongly, why else would God reveal this to our geneartion if He didn't want it shouted from the rooftops? Let's hope and pray this light is not hidden under a bushel.
