If you want your child's Bible study to be just another school subject, you will most likely love this series of bible study workbooks. For us, it was just too dry and boring...nothing but 'read and answer questins, read and answer questions, etc. etc. etc.' I want the Bible to reach into my children's hearts, not just be another school book to throw around and check off the list. I was getting really frustrated trying to find a Bible study we could use during our homeschool that was more than a devotional, and trust me I've tried just about all of them. Thankfully while browsing this site, I found a program called "Bible Study Guide for All Ages"...what an absolute Godsend!! I also recommend the "Choosing..." Bible study workbooks (Choosing Humility, Choosing Kindness, etc.) if you want a more heart-centered focus to your children's study of God's Word.

This series has been a blessing for my daughter and I. Having completed the 2nd book we decided to go back to the beginning with Genesis. The Bible Discovery series includes memory verses, and the actual text of the bible so it is challenging enough to hold our interest; yet the questions are direct and easy to answer using the workbook itself. We have made this bible study part of our breakfast routine. My daughter reads the text out loud as I prepare the our meal, and we answer the questions together before her bus get here! It has been wonderful to start each day in the word in a manner that is pure joy, offering my daughter growth and success without having to argue about sticking with it. We're even having greater success with the memory verses this time around. I recommend this series highly,especially for a family new to the church, or trying to grow in faith in a world that does not support a life in Christ. The format is much the same as ordinary public school worksheets, but the content is so much more valuable. My daughter and I live with significant life challenges,this workbook has kept us moving forward in our faith, and growing together as family. I cannot recommend it enough.

I love this Bible Study. I use it with my high schooler. I love the daily activities and the comprehensive questions. You not only learn the Bible through an in-depth study but you learn how to apply it to life. We will use these all the way through. I am looking forward to ordering these for my younger ones as well since they can study the same book as the oldest but on their level. These are very inexpensive for what you are getting. Perfect for home school.

LOVE this! Thank you so much. I have been looking for something straight forward and based on The Word (no fluff) for ages. The activities tie right in. My son is doing so well with this and learning a lot. If I wanted to supplement with any activities it would be easy enough. I love how it is organized by 4 days a week. Enough each day to learn and ponder on what you learned through out the day. We do a quick review the next day before going on.
