Publisher's Description

Sometimes people lose sight of the core of their ministry. They feel overwhelmed by the needs that surround them on a daily basis. Wise and beloved pastor Warren Wiersbe invites ministry leaders to listen in on thirty short "armchair chats" to encourage and strengthen them for service. He shares what he wishes he had known about ministering to others when he began his own Christian pilgrimage. I am so glad I purchased this book. I have been thinking about more involvement in Christian Ministry and this book opened my eyes.

Warren expounds in 30 or so chapters his definition of ministry --- "Ministry takes place when divine resources meet human needs through loving channels to the glory of God" --- so well.

And in between you will get golden nuggets of wisdom that anyone can even use in their everyday Christian life. Exceptionally good book; written in simple language. But don't let that fool you on the depth of the wisdom poured out in this book.

The book was good as well as the quality. I think though that the prices of e-books are way to high since there is no printing/shipping costs associated with them. This is not the fault of CBD but of the publishers.

I have read and re-read this book and have given it away to several people including my own family. It is a "must-read" for all servants of the Lord. Because of his experience, Warren Wiersbe knows what he's talking about!

Just finished reading this edition. What a fantastic tool, Mr. Wiersbe covered so many areas that each servant deals, battles and thrives with. This is a must-read for any man or woman engaged in the Lord's work, no matter what it is.
