Behold the King 5 5 1 1

This is a concise semi-technical exegetical commentary on the Gospel of Matthew. Toussaint does an excellent job at mapping out the main themes in the gospel and helps the reader to think contextually. This one factor alone makes the book worth reading. He also presents different views relating to particular passages, evaluates them and then gives and defends his views. He writes from a premil-dispensational view and represents perhaps the best defence of the revised-classical dispensational view. It is straight to the point and doesn't suffer from the verbosity that exhaustive commentaries tend to have. As a bonus, Toussaint could not be boring even if he tried. Excellent stuff!!!!
