I happened to find this book while looking for a different book but don't regret buying it! Was not sure how much I'd get out of it as I've read a couple before getting married books but of them all this has asked the best questions. I've been in a relationship for almost a yr and it opened my eyes to all the things that need work and improvement. I strongly encourage you to read this is if you are in a relationship where getting engaged is a possibility.

This book was well written but I felt that it was not the best for my fiance' and I. He read all of it and I read parts of it before we got engaged, but it seemed to cause more frustration and anxiety than it helped. I think it could be beneficial for some couples, but we found other books that held more of an encouraging tone and benefited us greatly.

This book may not be for every pre-engaged couple. The book was written very well. It was just not for our relationship, we already established our spiritual foundation. The book might have cause me to start unnessary arguments, so i put it away. Our relationship has never been better

I absolutely loved this book. My boyfriend and I have been reading it to get ready for our engagement and ultimately our marriage. We have found support in this book. The questions it asks and the first hand perspective of the author's son and his girlfriend are amazing.
