Author/Artist Review

Tell us a little about yourself.  I am the professor and establishing chairperson of the Department of Home Economics-Family and Consumer Sciences at The Master's College in Santa Clarita, California, where I have served since 1987. I am also the co- author of the companion volume, DESIGNING A LIFESTYLE THAT PLEASES GOD, and author of PRECIOUS IN HIS SIGHT, THE FINE ART OF BECOMING A GODLY WOMAN.

What was your motivation behind this project?  It is my passion that women will be excited about fulfilling God's special plan for them and will step out by faith and embrace it so that God's Word will not be discredited (Titus 2:3-5).

What do you hope folks will gain from this project?   BECOMING A WOMAN WHO PLEASES GOD and its companion volume DESIGNING A LIFESTYLE THAT PLEASES GOD is a snapshot of our major, who purpose is to train Godly women spiritually, academically and professionally. It is my desire that readers will come away with a conviction that the biblical truths contained in the books' pages are as relevant today as the day they were penned.

Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists?  Nancy Leigh DeMoss, Elizabeth Elliott, Elizabeth George, John MacArthur, Dorothy Patterson, John Piper, and Wayne Grudem.

Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know:  It is my prayer that women who read this volume will choose to implement its contents.
