When the Adobe Digital Editions installer comes up, click on 'Download Item.'
If you are downloading a DRM Protected eBook, you will be prompted to open or save the URLLINK.acsm. Click 'Save'.
Save the file to your Desktop for quick access later.
Right-click on the URLLINK file, then select 'Open With' and choose Adobe Digital Editions.
If Adobe Digital Editions is not in the list, click 'Choose Default Program' and then select Adobe Digital Editions from the list.

Chef Marti5 Stars Out Of 5A gift to yourselfOctober 3, 2014Chef MartiQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5This is by far the greatest book I have ever bought for myself and trust me when I tell you, I have a lot of books. As Stasi says, Take your time going through this. You are worth it!! Turn your phone off, lock a door or spend time in a quite chapel. Allow the Holy Spirit to speak to you. The prayers Stasi has written are beautiful. They help you to let your guard down and allow Jesus & the Holy Spirit to work in your heart. I read awhile then ponder my own life and relationships then pray about it. I repeat this process until "my time" comes to an end. I try to spend at least 1 hour every evening. Two to three hours is wonderful. It's like a mini retreat just for me. I would love to meet Stasi to give her a big hug & say Thank You. It's wonderful to know other women have had the same struggles I have had and still do have. Healing & Liberating are the best words I can think of to describe this book. There is no question that "Becoming Myself" is a must read for all women. Thank you Stasi & God Bless You for all you went through to bring so many women this healing experience.

Stasi has an amazing way of helping us see ourselves as God sees us, flaws and all! She then brings us to a place where we can begin to understand that God already knows how messed up we all are. He understands our hurts and wants us to turn to Him for help navigating through all the mess! And when we do? WOW! That's were the healing begins! And it is liberating!

I was eager to jump in and read it because I have heard such incredible things about Stasi and John Eldredge's ministry called Ransomed Hearts and the conferences that they conduct. I soon realized that I am probably not the right audience for this book. Much of the book focuses on how to overcome past hurts from your childhood, poor self image and insecurities. I was blessed to have a wonderful set of parents and a good upbringing which provided me the opportunity for a good foundation that did not set up a lot of emotional scars that needed healing. But, the overall purpose of the book is about changing the things that you don't like about yourself_that don't line up with the Word of God and how He sees you_..to becoming the woman that He intends you to be. With that context, I think everyone can find something in this book that is relevant for them.
My absolute favorite part of the book is the Daily Prayer at the end. It is a powerful representation of what to pray and how to pray it. You can also find it on their ministry website under the tab called "Prayer".
I received a complimentary e-copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for a fair and unbiased review.

It was filled with so many encouraging words and insightful thoughts on living the life of a Woman-Created-By-God. (That's you, by the way).
Her passion is to speak into the lives of women -- who have asked themselves these questions. Is change really possible? Is there something better than this? Will I ever feel whole? Who am I really? Am I beautiful? Acceptable? Worthy? Can I truly find freedom?
Stasi has a gentle yet convicting way of speaking into the hearts of women in her new book. She is honest and transparent as she guides you through so the many variables, facets and angles that make you ... you. I warmed quickly to her words.
I need to point out that this is not a weekend read. It was difficult for me to absorb it as a book reviewer on a deadline. Instead Stasi's book would be better taken slow and unhindered. There were many places I felt her words convict my heart and want to dig down deeper- but I couldn't. There were many places when the flow of emotions would not allow me to continue reading- but I had to.
Let me encourage you to grab a hold of this book if you are wondering about, seeking after healing or change in your life. Stasi says, "the very fact that we long for the change is a sign that we are meant to have it." So get the book, read it slow and patiently and watch God unveil the true you - the one He envisioned, dreamed of and then created.
A study guide is also available for purchase & great for small groups & bible studies.
