Victims often feel robbed, contaminated, and ashamed. They may lash out against God and have trouble getting along with others. They may not be able to forget or forgive, much less build meaningful relationships. Many suffer deeply, often alone. Is there a way out? Yes! After explaining why sexual abuse can be so devastating, Beauty for Ashes leads readers through God's Word to healing and hope. Clear, honest, and practical, this book will be appreciated by pastors, by counselors, and most especially, by those who have known the anguish of Tamar.

Katy Gosling5 Stars Out Of 5February 23, 2010Katy GoslingBeauty for Ashes is a great book that is helping me get through my situation. It asks deep questions that makes me really think about my event/situation. I especailly like how it is biblically based because I never read Tamar's story before like I have now and it means so much more to know that even way back when someone else, not just me, went through the same emotions. I am now in my healing process and I have hope that I will see God's light at the end of my dark tunnel one day. I praise His name!

Robin Wonders4 Stars Out Of 5August 11, 2009Robin WondersThe description is pretty accurate. The subject keeps coming up, and families want a way to help those injured to heal. This provides that resource for people who don't know what to say.
