Our ladies' group was going through Battlefield of the Mind; so I purchased the teen version and the kid's version. My children really seemed to grasp the need to be aware of the devil's schemes. The are also able to discuss it with their peers when the see the enemy trying to get a foothold.
My son and his friend are going through this book with their spiritual mentor and he loves it! We have the adult version and he commented how well this one is written for young teens. Hes 17 and with all the darkness in this world our kids face, this gives them the ability to understand how the mind impacts their daily walk and how they can train thir minds and hearts to stay clean and pure, even in a corrupt world. He loves the way its written so teens can relate to it. Another great book by Joyce Meyer!
I read it, before passing it on to my 15 yr old. I enjoyed it. Thought there was some valuable info that was enjoyable and easy to read. Wish it had been geared a little more toward teens however. At times it just seemed like she was ranting on her husband. Would have liked to see more real life issues relating to teens.
This was a wonderful book, originating from the original book for adults. Teens feel this is more for them, even just for having "just for teens" on the cover. Our youth have become enlightened and this book has opened up a world of discussions. My girls are reading this book with their youth group and I am enjoying more conversations with them, than I have ever before. It is a joy to see the growth that they are experiencing from this book.
