Magical Barefoot Summer by Denise Hunter is sweet, charming, and funny. All of which, in my opinion, make for a fantastic read. I thoroughly enjoy the idea of two people coming together again after years apart and with lots of more life. This is the story of Madison and Beckett whom are meant for each other. Madison is a single twin living with the fact that she is now one half of herself following the death of her brother. She decides to accomplish the task her brother never got to. Thus leading her to the only person she knew that could teach her, Beckett. A man worth reading about. Her decision changed their lives and set in course what was meant to be. I happily avoided my daily duties and read this lovely story. Thank You Denise for writing this magical novel, it was such a treat. May 21, 2013

Another winner from Denise Hunter! I have been waiting for a new book from Denise Hunter and I was thrilled to get a copy of her latest novel! "Barefoot Summer" is book 1 in Denise's new Chapel Springs Romance series. Madison has struggled for years with the death of her twin brother and this summer she is determined to honor his memory, but Madison is in for some surprises and changes in her own life as well. This book is a wonderful story filled with secrets, romance and facing your past and moving forward to the future; all the elements for a really good story that draws the reader immediately into not only the plot, but the characters' lives as well. This is one not to miss out on and a wonderful read to kick-off the summer! May 21, 2013
