So what's a good girl to do? Learn from their lives, says Liz Curtis Higgs, and by God's grace, choose a better path. In Bad Girls of the Bible, Higgs offers a unique and clear-sighted approach to understanding those "other women" in Scripture, combining a contemporary retelling of their stories with a verse-by-verse study of their mistakes and what lessons women today can learn from them.
Whether they were "Bad to the Bone," "Bad for a Season, but Not Forever" or only "Bad for a Moment," these infamous sisters show women how not to handle the challenges of life. With her trademark humor and encouragement, Higgs teaches you how to avoid their tragic mistakes and joyfully embrace grace. Includes reflection questions at the end of each chapter.

Liz Curtis Higgs writes with her readers in mind keeping it very down to earth. It has given me a different perspective on the women highlighted in this study. I would highly recommend it to all women.

My opinion is that it is a book aimed more at a "middle age" generation rather than an older one. My daughter will probably enjoy it even more than I did.

I did not particular like this writing. It did not capture my attention. I felt it to be more geared toward a young generation or those who are inspired by novel reading. If I had to recommend this book, it would definitely be a recommendation for the teen demographic. I highly recommend this book. "I received this book for free from WaterBrook Multnomah Publishing Group for this review".
