Baby's Little Bible - Pink
Gentle introduction to Bible for babies/toddlers
It's never too soon to share Bible stories with your children, even as babies. It's important to have quality Bible story books with baby-friendly pictures they can enjoy. Baby's Little Bible by Sarah Toulmin is the perfect first introduction to favorite Bible stories like Noah's Ark, Jonah and the Whale, Daniel in the Lion's Den, the birth of Jesus, and his death and resurrection. The book is divided into both Old Testament and New Testament so that children will learn the Bible's correct timeline from the beginning. Obviously, not every bit of the Bible is included in the 159 pages, written in simple sentence structure similar to an early reader book.
Its compact, hardcover design is easy to hold while reading to little ones. The text is simple with sounds and action words to keep the interest of babies and toddlers. The illustrations by Kristina Stephenson are gentle and inviting. I would love to frame some of them as decorations for my daughters' rooms!
This definitely makes an excellent baby shower or first Christmas gift.

There is really no other word to describe this story Bible than precious. Unlike many of the other baby's Bibles I have seen, this one is to be used, read to, and understood by your sweet baby as he/she grows up. The illustrations are beautifully done, and will hold your little one's interest as you read the simple prose of some of our most beloved Bible stories.
As your baby grows older, it can be used as their own book to read from, something like "The Beginner's Bible". This is a book that will be used for many years, and will be well loved.
The padded cover makes a comfortable book to hold and to easy to wipe little fingerprints from. This is a wonderful first book to add to your child's library or would make a wonderful gift for the new/expecting parent. Truly this is something that will make a treasured and well used gift!

Great Gift for Little Ones
My 5 year old was so excited to see this Bible, especially since the version we reviewed was pink. She was very attracted to the pictures and believes that her little cousin Gabriella will love this Bible when sheâÂÂs old enough to look at the pictures while her mom is reading it to her.
My 7 year old read the Bible from cover to cover in 40 minutes! I was excited to see her reach for the Bible, and want to read what was inside. The Bible stories are written in a simple enough language that she didnâÂÂt have a hard time except for a few unfamiliar names and places. She really liked reading the prayer at the end of the book, which is very similar to the prayer we say together each night.
I like the book for itâÂÂs simplicity, the pretty illustrations which captured my childrenâÂÂs attention, and the price. I often struggle to find good books for my girls as well as for gift-giving, and at $9.99, it fits in my budget, and itâÂÂs still a quality product.
