Could not use due to violent content All was well with the book until the last two pages. You would expect the story to end, as others do, with the coming of the wise men. WHY, in a book rated for ages 0-3, would the story need to continue to say that a certain king wanted to kill all the babies!?!? This book was to be read to a baby!!! Think about it!! Thankfully, the other nativity books purchased were lovely. This one has been discarded. December 21, 2010

Wonderful book, simply yet colorfully illustrated. Very simple text that takes you through to the Holy family returning from Egypt to Nazareth. Also does not show wise men visiting baby Jesus in the stable like most stories inaccurately do. Very well written for little ones. Reasonably priced, I highly recommend December 12, 2008
