B4UD8 (Before You Date): 7 Things You Need to Know Before Your Next Date
I ordered this book, started flipping through it and didn't put it down! I taught it point by point to our youth group and ALL the kids were captivated! I couldn't finish it in one service like i had hoped because all the kids were sharing, asking questions, and relating to this book so much. THEY suggested I pick it back up the following weeks. Since then, I have had them come to me and ask to borrow the book when they are having relationship changes and re-read the sections that apply to them.
This impacted them greatly! I HIGHLY recommended this to every youth pastor!

Fun Book to Read
I bought this book for my 15 and 13 year old to read. My 15 year old said that it was boring BUT she read the whole thing in two days (actually two sittings). Based on that it must have been somewhat interesting in order to read it that fast. I thought it was fun to read. I liked the quips and jokes in the side columns. I'm a visual person and so I also liked the layout of each page.

Easy to read, and straight to the point
I love the detail, and thought that went into the book. Not only is it very simple but a teen and parent can use it as a conversation piece. We gave it to our Jr. Core members, and they have not set it down since Christmas. The references to the bible, are also great. Great job.
Thank you Life Teen Youth minister.

This book is an answer to my desparate prayers! Unfortunately, I did not have a good foundation to come from in teaching my own children about the world of dating. I feel like my own thinking about the dating relationships have been corrected; therefore, I am better able to help my chlildren to navigate during this time in their lives. I have underlined many important passages. I love that there are wide margins in which to add my thoughts and ideas. The language is contemporary without being offensive or put-offish for adults. They present the information from a strong Biblical belief system, but are not condemning in any way. Love the chapter, "Dating is Not Marriage". The authors relate personal stories without too many details in the margins that are relevant and insightful. Can't wait to read other books from these authors!
