Mr. Awana: Sixty-Plus Years of Changing the World for Christ
Okay But Not Wonderful!
I was really disappointed with this book. I felt as if it was pushed to the limit to get everything in. I think things should have been broken down more and even in other books. If you want to know about the man behind awana then this is the book for you. If you want to know about Awana itself and how it got started this might not be the book. I'm not saying that there is not information about Awana but I'm saying there should have been more about that then about the man behind it.
This is a good book for people who work in Awana programs in their leadership at church. It offers a lot of scripture and show clearly his heart for God.
I felt distracted by the many errors that I found in the book. I also felt that the first chapter wasn't neccessary at all. Some chapters were way to long and others were way to short. It left no balance in the book at all. Overall, the content is decent but I felt it lacked organization.
I'd like ot say thanks to the publisher who sent the book to BookCrash.com who sent the book to me. Thank you.
