Andew Murray wrote, "A Christian often feels perplexed by the variety of truths and duties set before him in Scriptures; to see clearly what the central thought is, is like finding the key to some building round which one had vainly wandered seeking an entrance." Murray was writing about Hebrews 8:1 and I was reminded that Christ is seated on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens. The key thing I need to know when I come to intercession is that all authority in heaven and earth belong to Jesus Christ. This book...The Authority of the Believer...brings to the reader's focus the centrality of this truth that all authority belongs to Jesus Christ and the believer is seated with Him in heaven. We can pray from a position of victory. The main text is not from Hebrews but from Ephesians and Colossians. This book is a gem.

This book, written initially as a series of articles, contains powerful truths that most Christians have never heard or considered.I have purchased several copies over the past year to share with others and would recommend it to anyone who is serious about a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Very good book. The Body of Christ needs to take in what this book has to teach us about our authority in Christ.

I'm quite sure this book is a landmark text in beginning to understand what authority we have. Punctuated by seasoned personal insights into the faithful author's journey.
