Best on Christ-shaped leadership
This is the best I have read on Christian leadership. There are so many 'how to' guides out there, but this comes straight from the Bible, shaped by the cross of Christ, and reflecting the author's pastoral and personal experience. It is warm and engaging, but gets to the point. I recommend it and pass it on to everyone - student fellowship leaders, church deacons and leaders, home group leaders, etc!

This is a very searching read for leaders at every level: church leaders, home-group leaders, campus fellowship leaders, mission agency leaders...There are thousands of books on leadership flooding the market. Here, in just a few pages, Ajith Fernando cuts to the heart of leadership - are we willing to serve? Ajith Fernando writes from wide pastoral experience. He is warm, and gets us engaging with scripture in fresh ways. I remember hearing him at the Urbana Missions Convention, and the students cheered when he came on stage. They could see his own authenticity.There is a study guide at the back, which would make very good material for a leaders' conference or quiet day. Highly commended.
