A great read for any deep thinking Christian... provides depth and scriptures as reasons to challenge the life of a believer deeper in their walk. My single quirk was that I don't believe I fully agreed with his view of tragedies that occur in life, instead of portraying the love of God during those times he suggests using it to grow. Sometimes the only way to get through difficulty is to have an unshakable trust in the love and character of God. Looking at the incident as God-sent or placed for our betterment, could instead of growing a person make them indignant towards God. Perhaps Gary would agree with some of the above but it came across shaky in his book, but the angle of the book was toward a person who is in need of God's humility and not God's restoration.Beyond the above it was a great book and I learned a LOT from it.
