Now youth pastors and leaders can help the teens and tweens in their group put on every piece of God’s armor, including the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation and the footreadiness that comes with knowing the gospel of peace. In the second half of The Armor of God, students will learn how to use their offensive weaponthe sword of the Spirit, God’s Word. Twelve sessions of youth-friendly study will equip young Christians to stand strong in their faith and march forward in confidence!

My students love Kara Powell's Bible study guides!
January 13, 2014
I have used several of Kara Powell's Jr. High Bible study guides with my middle school Sunday School class and we're just starting the "Armor of God" book. The Bible teaching is excellent and includes questions to make the youth think about what they believe and why. However, my students' favorite part of the study is the activities. Ms. Powell and her co-authors really know what this age enjoys.
Yesterday, one of my students told me, "This is so fun--I just love this! This is the only place where I can really be me and be silly!" I must admit that I got choked up when she said that--isn't this what we youth teachers really want?!
