The DVD contained an introduction to the Apostle's life and photos of possible places (that had been excavated) he visited. I was disappointed in the length and stopped watching about half way through, since it seemed like a bland narration of ruins that Paul may have passed through. The movie, "Peter & Paul" is a 100 times more informative and brings to life the the man, impact, and the purpose of Paul's role in bringing the Gospel of Grace to the world, as well as the Disciples.
I was a little disappointed, but only because I was expecting more. The actual movie is pretty good, and I do think it is worth watching. It's just that it's not a movie that I would watch over and over.
The dvd was good in that it showed the different sites of Paul's visits. If the dvd had been longer and would have supplied more detail, it would rank as excellent. this is more of a summary of Paul's journeys.
I thought I was ordering the movie Paul the Apostle, but it is very informative. I have been using it with my Sunday School class of 5th and 6th graders. We have been studing Paul's missionary journeys.
