Easily complete the labs in Apologia's Exploring Creation with Physical Science curriculum with this pre-packaged kit that features the hardest-to-find elements. While you have to still provide some household items, most of the work is done for you! Please see the Contents PDF for a full list of included components.
I bought this product for the convenience of having lab supplies all pulled together for our homeschool science experiments. I am unimpressed by the quality of the materials. My son was performing an experiment in our co-op and the antacid tablets "did not work," so he had to borrow some from another student. Another family had a broken thermometer. Most of the items are not "hard to find." If you want the convenience of a kit, I recommend acquiring Apologia's list over the summer and compiling your own kit ahead of time. You will have the convenience without the cost and at a better quality. I plan to do this when we study Biology onward.
I would def recommend purchasing the kits for any Apologia course! The kits will save you much time. Inside the kit, you will find individually pre-packaged zip lock bags labeled for each experiment; so, all you have to do is grab the bag for the experiment you are working on.
I LOVE this kit! The supplies are bagged according to the Module number that they are needed. The labels on the bags even tell which supplies are going to be used in future Modules and gives the Module number for those shared supplies. Very well organized. It is now possible for my son to do experiments on his own. I highly recommend this.
After having done several years of Apologia science, I discovered these kits. They have made all the difference in the world for us completing each experiment. Supplies are packaged neatly and orderly. Module supplies are in their own labeled, ziplock bag. It tells you which products will be reused for later experiments. I now look forward to helping my children with their experiments because I know we'll have all the supplies. Too many times in the past we were missing an item or two and experiments failed more often than not.
