Convenience so worth the price!!!
First let me say that the only reason I didn't give this product 5 stars was because a couple of the bags were broken open and powder spilled from the all over the inside of the box. Other than that I would give it 5 stars b/c of the convenient way the contents are packaged. Each bag is labeled with a number that corresponds to each lesson with everything you need for that lesson. Examples might be a few skittles, a packet of jello, etc. I don't have to go out and buy things like this that I don't normally have around the house. I also don't have to worry about pre-planning what I need to buy for the next week's labs. Other kits we've purchased (on other sites for other science programs) may have some of the harder to find items in them, but none have been as complete and hassle-free as this. You still have quite a few items you need to come up with and you have to compile what you need each week from the general box of supplies. This kit saves you time from that perspective. It really is grab and go.

FUN
This kit has almost everything you need , someone has taken great care and thought into putting this together. Granted some things you may have already like scissors and ruler but it is broken into assignment . So user friendly my child can do on his own and has LOVES science.

The kit is not always going to include supplies for more than one child at a time. For example the clay included for Lesson 2 is only enough for one child. We used some play-dough we already had & then traded around. I am finding the pack very easy to use. I am glad I purchased it because it greatly minimizes the "hunting" process for supplies you may or may not have on hand.

Absolutely love this!!
Yes, it is expensive, but when you are in the middle of a lesson and hit a "Try This" or don't plan ahead like me, this kit is awesome. Everything in the kit is placed in little baggies labeled for each lesson. There really is very little left to supply yourself. I have used other science kits for this series too, but this is the best by far.
