This maybe an ok book, but I was definitely turned off by the author's pot-shots at John Eldredge. I'm mean you have to be kidding me to say that John Elderedge has a mediocre view of marriage and fighting for his family! I don't think I've ever heard anyone who speaks and writes more on fighting for women! March 23, 2010

What I love about this book is that it is honest and upfront, you can give it to your teenage daughter or you can go through it with them (as I plan to do). I love the way the point she is trying to make is that, who are you trying to impress? The kind of Godly man that you will actually want to marry will be more impressed by your passionate relationship with God than he will be by a short skirt. Just the kind of thing I want my daughters knowing! September 1, 2009
