ACE's Animal Science course is designed to compliment the ABC's with ACE and Christi program. Full-page, full-color pictures illustrate the animal stories (included in the PACE) that emphasize alphabet sounds. After each story, a short activity such as a coloring page or maze is provided to help develop small motor skills and eye-hand coordination. Students move at their own speed through the self-instructional "PACE" workbooks. Following the mastery approach, PACEs are formatted for students to complete the exercises found throughout the workbook, take a practice "self test," and conclude with a "final test" (torn out from the center) to measure understanding.
