An Amish Christmas
This is the very first Amish Fiction book that I ever read. In 2009, I went to our local library to find some books to check out. My oldest daughter liked Amish romances so I thought I'd give them a try. The cover for An Amish Christmas was appealing to me so I grabbed it. The authors got me hooked on Amish Fiction!
That first edition didn't include Christmas Cradles by Kelly Long. I'm glad it's in the newer editions. It turned out to be my most favorite story of them all. They are all enjoyable to read. I would have to say One Child by Barbara Cameron was my least favorite. While I liked the Amish characters, I didn't really care for the Englishers in the story.
These sweet stories will touch your heart. Each novella has characters from the other stories woven into it. It's surprising how four stories can be written by different authors and still flow together. They are about God's love for us and how we are given second chances and need to give others second chances also.
I received a free copy of this book from BookSneeze and Thomas Nelson Publisher in exchange for my honest review.

Excellent reading
I so appreciate learning about the Amish Christmas traditions that are different from our Christian ones.
Their basic beliefs makes our celebrations more like we
have forgotten our Lords birth. They help me to remember the foundation of my faith.

Christmas Candles by Kelly Long

This book has 4 short stories (Novellas)about the Amish. I love to read about the Amish and when this book was released I jumped on it. This book was released last year and they added another story to it and it was released again. IâÂÂm sure glad because it is GREAT.
I thoroughly loved it, it is a GREAT read for people who love the Amish stories as much as I do. It will bring you closer to knowing the true meaning of Christmas, I just thoroughly loved every story in the book. The stories all pertain to each other and that is very helpful also since some of the characters in the first book are in the second book and so on. You should really give this book a try, and especially since it is about Christmas in the Amish country in Pennsylvania. I love Christmas and this book just touched my heart. Thank you to Beth Wiseman, Kathleen Fuller, Barbara Cameron and Kelly Long for giving us all such a great book.
