Product Description

Washington remarked that one could "trace the finger of Providence through those...events" of framing the Constitution. From the first preaching of the Gospel in Israel across the west to Europe and America, America's Providential History defends the idea of the Westward Chain of Christianity, explaining how America was ripe for the "cultured Indo-Europeans". From this idea, the authors trace the hand of God throughout the founding and establishment of America. Quotes from historical figures, black and white art reproductions, along with biblical excerpts and sermons bring a rich flavor to the text. 293 pages, indexed, softcover.

I have purchased several copies of this book as gifts, especially for pastors. They have all been appreciative of it and find it a good tool for study. It is a very eye-opening account of how our nation was founded and exactly why we have experienced God's blessings over the years. National days of prayer, fasting, and every aspect of government being God-based are all part of our heritage. I would hate for those who fought and died for the formation of our nation to see the state we are in now and the things we tolerate in order to be "politically correct." If you enjoy history, or even if you just love our country, this is very worthwhile reading that will give you a fresh rush of patriotism. God bless America!
