Many of the questions are definitely odd, but in a good way. They give the study of history a more realistic and human quality. The book mentions using the quizes as a pre-learning activity, but we used them as a wrap-up to our learning. Some of the facts we had covered in our studies. Those we had not covered provided us a good exercise in logic trying to figure out what would be consistent with what we'd learned. It was a part of the lesson we all enjoyed.Because this book covers a wide range of history, the quizes will be useful for years worth of history studies.
