God layed a burden on my heart for plateaued or declining churches. Dr. Malphur's book is an excellent tool to help your church refocus on the purposes for which God created it, re-evaluate itself, and how to put a strategy in place to get it to where God wants it to be. An outstanding book with plenty of biblical references for what your trying to do. I highly recommend it to Pastors and lay leaders who want to jump start God's church.

Leaders would save a great deal of time, effort and even tears by reading this book. To say that its unspiritual for a church to engage in Strategic Planning is a great fallacy. This book is set to convince that God "thinks and acts strategically" and He encourages us to do the same.
