Excellent Resource I got this book because I was preaching through parts of Acts. It was an invaluable resource to me during that time. Dr SproulÃ¢ÂÂs sermon notes from St. Andrews helped me gain insight and a new clarity of the scriptures. If you want to learn more about this great book of the Bible and especially if you are teaching or preaching through it, then I encourage you to purchase this resource from one of the greatest theologians of our time. Helpful Commentary I received this commentary for free from Crossway Publishing Co. as a review copy (this did not influence my review of this book and I was not required to give a good review). I have always enjoyed using commentaries as I have studied Scripture, both in school and for sermon preparation. When I received RC SproulÃ¢ÂÂs expositional commentary on Acts I was expecting a commentary that resembled most of the commentaries on the market. I was pleasantly surprised when I started working my way through this commentary. It is a collection of 62 expositional sermons on the book of Acts. It covers the entire book of Acts in sermon form. I will not re-preach these sermons, but I did find these sermons very eye opening and rich with sermon illustrations and insights into the passages themselves. Sproul identified this as a Ã¢ÂÂbig pictureÃ¢ÂÂ commentary. He does a give a good Ã¢ÂÂbig pictureÃ¢ÂÂ view of Acts. I highly recommend this commentary to any student of the Bible. December 17, 2010
