John is not a story teller but does an excellent job following the text and telling you what the Bible says. I always use John when I want to understand what a portion of Scripture says.

Books arrived sooner than I expected in perfect condition.

I can always find the best price in what I'm looking for and the John MacArthur Commentaries are one of my favorites for diving into more or as much detail as I'm searching for in my studies....the content is incredibly informative and piques the interest from page to page, verse to verse.

I enjoy MacArthur's writing style in this series of commentaries. I have his full set of commentaries that I use as one of my sources for studies. I purchased the two commentaries on Acts as a gift for a friend that is preparing to teach a men's bible study. I may not agree with all of his views, but the points and relations to scripture and the history of the times that he brings to light is very much worth reading.
