Rhymes and illustrations good. When story ends with finding treasure chest, I don't feel young children will make connection to the kingdom of heaven. Definitely would need to be read by an adult to make the link.

This book provides your young one with value based lessons about living a life for Christ along an uncertain path of adventure... Highly Recommended

I read the book through before wrapping it as a gift and enjoyed the colorful illustrations and the message. We sometimes need to be reminded that some things in life are worth giving are all for. I like the Bible verse at the end as a reminder.

Cute book--good rhymes, attractive illustrations. But the treasure without measure turns out to be a chest of gold that Fred sought throughout his life. I was expecting the treasure to be something more spiritual. So part of my disappointment was based on expectations. Otherwise, it's a clever book.
