Tell us a little about yourself. Author and speaker, lover of Jesus, my husband and our family. After 25 years of flying for Delta Airlines, was called into pastoral care at a very large church in SC. Currently devoting full time to sharing the message of A Time to Heal, a grief journal.
What was your motivation behind this project? My mom's shockingly sudden death left me devastated, and not sure where to turn. My prayer journal became a place I could preserve precious photos and memories, and also find genuine comfort. Shortly after 9/11, A Time to Heal was completed to minister to people in NYC and at the Pentagon, and share the hope of Christ.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? My hope is that the new (hard cover) journal will be a lasting place to preserve the story of someone who is much too important to forget.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? Journaling provided a beautiful place to remember my mom, and helped my heart to heal. Re-reading the story now brings more smiles than tears.
