This is actually two short stories that take place around Christmas. Because the stories are short you really don't get a chance to fall in love with the main characters. However, the stories were entertaining and held my interest. I gave this book 4/5 stars. I liked that they were centered around Christmas time and that they had a Christian theme throughout. I did wish the stories had been separated into two books as that would have given the authors a better chance to develop the plot and characters. That said, the stories were a great escape. I would recommend this book for anyone looking for a Christmas themed Christian romance book to read.

I would like to thank the publisher for the copy of this book I enjoyed reading. I gave an honest review based on my opinion of what I read.

A Snowglobe Christmas Novella by Lisa Goodnight and Lissa Manley

    Yuletide Homecoming

    By Linda Goodnight

    Book One

    5 Stars*****

In this book one of this Christmas Novella Linda Goodnight introduces us to the town of Snowglobe Montana, Yes with a name like that you can imagine it makes the perfect setting for a Christmas story that comes complete with lots of snow and preparations for Christmas.

Amy Caldwell is returning to Snowglobe to take over her mom's gift shop so her mom can retire. Amy left Snowglobe five years ago when her then fiancé Rafe Westfield decided joining the Military was more important than marrying her. Amy hopes she can keep from running into Rafe but Snowglobe is a small town and the chances are slim.

Rafe Westfield thought for sure Amy would understand when he felt a call on his life to serve his country. Now he is back home in Snowglobe, a man scarred by the horrors of war and carrying a secret that shames him. Now that Amy is back in Snowglobe Rafe hopes that he can get Amy to forgive him for what she thinks was his betrayal.

When Amy decides to help out by packing food baskets for the needy at her church she runs into Rafe. After spending time with Rafe again will Amy be able to get past her hurts and forgive Rafe? Will they be able to pick up where they left off five years ago?

Linda has created a beautiful story filled with hope and forgiveness. I thoroughly enjoyed it and would love to read more from Linda in the future.

    Book Two

    5 Stars*****

In this book two Lissa introduces us to two lonely people that have faced terrible problems and are trying to overcome them.

Sara Kincaid thought when she got married it would be forever, but when she unexpectedly becomes pregnant she finds out that's not the case with some men. Although abandoned by her husband when she is eight months pregnant Sara bravely goes on with her life. Three years later she is running a successful bed-and-breakfast by herself and taking care her precocious three year old, Mia

Owen Larsen is a man that still grieves the loss of his beloved wife and he is not looking for anyone else to take her place. Owen's only concern in his life right now is taking care of his beautiful almost three year old daughter, Janey. Owen feels he needs to leave Snowglobe and its painful memories and start over with his life. Before he leaves for Moonlight Cove, Washington he has one last repair job on his list, the local bed and breakfast. When Owen meets the proprietor he is impressed that Sara Kincaid takes care of the place by herself along with raising a three year old daughter. When Owen tells Sara how much work is involved in fixing her roof and how much it's going to cost, she tells him she doesn't have the money, so they work out a barter. Owen says he will fix the roof if Sara will take care of Janey because his normal sitter isn't in town. Sara wanting to do more for this wonderful man that is willing to fix her roof for almost nothing decides the least she can do is fix a few hot meals for Owen and Janey.

After spending time together because of the girls Owen and Sara find themselves wanting to be more than friends. Will Owen and Sara take a chance on finding love or will both decide the risk of trusting and loving again is just too great a chance to take?

Lissa has written a sweet story that brings to life the hope and joy of Christmas. I enjoyed reading about Sara and Owen and their beautiful little girls. It was the perfect ending to this Christmas Novella. Thank you Linda and Lissa for making my Christmas a little brighter with this excellent book.

I was given an arc from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for my honest opinion.

My Thoughts About The Book: As an avid lover of snowglobes and feel good Christmas stories I was drawn immediately to this book. It was everything I hoped for. On a very cold and blustery day I read the book in one sitting. This was one of those get ready for the holidays kind of books. The characters were very real and Snowglobe could have been any snowy town in the mountains. Great read. I can't wait to read something else by these authors.

All they asked for was an honest review. The opinions I have expressed are my own. I am disclosing this in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission's 16 CFR, Part 255.
