Product Description

A spirit of brotherly concern led to this brief examination of several crucial problems in dispensational teaching. Noting that dispensationalism divides the people of God throughout Scripture, the author explains how that belief undermines the biblical truth that salvation is by grace in all ages.

Publisher's Description

Great amount of learning in such a small amount of pages. The eloquence in his writing is tremendous.

With all due respect to Mr. Laitres, I thoroughly disagree with his assessment of Gerstner's book. Gerstner shows a very in-depth understanding of dispensationalism, having even discussed certain points of dispensational doctrine with Dr. Ryrie. In this book, I read no unfound charges against Israel. In fact, every dispensational issue Gerstner covers, I have personally been exposed to by very learned dispensational scholars. Gerstner does indeed expose the antinomianism that pervades dispensational teaching, in which he exposes the gap between dispensationalists saying that people are saved only by grace, through faith, in all ages - and what they actually, unintentionally teach. This is a very fair, concise, coherent book that is presented in love, seeking only to strive for true and correct doctrine, and to give God the glory for His redemptive purpose, and to honor Jesus Christ in His fullness. I highly recommend this book.

This is another ridiculous attempt by Gerstner to discredit Dispensationalism. He shows a disturbing lack of understanding concerning what most dispensationalists teach, and makes unfounded charges concerning dispensationalists and Israel. If any type of theology mistreats Israel, it is his own.Dispensationalism does not teach that people are saved any other way than by grace through faith in all ages. Gerstner's books on this subject are an embarrassment, and he would do well to pull them out of print.
