A Path in Time
My sweet amazing wife ordered this movie for my birthday after she saw I liked it after first seeing the trailer (overseas by the way), what a sweetie!
After watching it with her I was embarrassed I didn't at least read some reviews before showing my excitement.
We love movies that spread the Gospel message and will even endure lower budget movies, but this one was quite bad.
We were both very disappointed with the low quality, poor acting, confusing over complicated plot, and very sudden ending (we both thought there must be part 2).
Even with the cheap price not recommended, perhaps rent it at best.

I was looking forward to see what they did with special effects on this and they were OK, nothing special, but the acting and directing were simply so bad that it was painful to watch.

an incomplete ending
To make it a success there needs to be a second movie to complete the story.

Its a good family movie, but...
A Path in Time is a movie with great potential. It has a wonderful story, a sincere heart-felt message, and excitement and suspense which keeps you engaged.
However, that's all this movie has, "potential." The movie ends without warning and you feel empty, like something's missing. It seems like it gets going and turns out to be a great story, then abruptly ends before you get to see what happens. For this reason, I give it 3 stars instead of 5. It would easily be a 5 star film if they made it a full feature length film.
Its still a nice story and worth the money, but it didn't exactly meet my expectations. But I am just happy to be supporting a Christian message.
